Payment Policy

Last updated: 17 JUL 2025This policy is governed by the laws of Malaysia and aligned with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Deposit Requirement

  • A non-refundable deposit of RM1,000 per person is required upon booking to confirm participation.

  • For promotional packages (e.g. MATTA Fair, Early Bird), full or partial payment may be required upfront as specified in the promo.

  • Your booking will only be considered confirmed once the deposit has been received and acknowledged.


2. Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 45 days before the scheduled departure date.

  • For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment must be made within 3 working days of booking confirmation.


3. Modes of Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash / MEPS (in-store)

  • Online bank transfer

  • Cheque (payable to Dhafir Holiday Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd)

  • Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard) – subject to 2.5% service charge

  • Online payment gateway (e.g. Stripe or FPX)


4. Late Payments

  • Failure to complete payment within the stated deadline will result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

  • No reminders are guaranteed. It is your responsibility to ensure all payments are completed by the due date.


5. Proof of Payment

  • Customers must email or WhatsApp proof of payment to our team for verification.

  • Your booking status will remain “pending” until payment is verified.

  • Payment reference must include the customer’s name and travel package.


6. Currency

  • All payments must be made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payments from international customers must account for exchange rate and transaction fees.


7. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refunds are governed under our Refund Policy.

  • Deposits are non-refundable except in limited cases (force majeure, company-initiated cancellations).

  • Partial payments are only refundable as stated in the refund structure.


8. Security & Online Transactions

  • We use secure SSL-encrypted payment gateways for all online transactions.

  • Dhafir Holiday will never request sensitive card information via email or messaging apps.
